Injection Treatments for Joint and Soft Tissue Pain in Pécs

Magyar | English | Deutsch

Orthopaedic injection treatments offer an effective way to relieve musculoskeletal pain and inflammation. Our main injection services are described below.

Joint injection / joint puncture

During a joint puncture we remove excess fluid that has built up in the joint, which reduces pain and swelling. We then inject an anti-inflammatory or pain-relieving medicine directly into the joint, helping faster healing and the recovery of movement. The procedure is especially useful for joint inflammation, osteoarthritis or injuries.

Soft tissue infiltration

The aim of soft tissue infiltration is to reduce pain and inflammation in muscles, tendons or ligaments. An anti-inflammatory medicine is injected directly into the affected area, which can bring quick relief and support tissue regeneration. The treatment can be effective, for example, for tendon inflammation, bursitis or fasciitis.

Nerve block injection

Block injections are used to pinpoint the source of pain and to relieve it. An anaesthetic and an anti-inflammatory medicine are placed around the affected nerve or joint, which can bring immediate pain relief. The method is especially useful for spine-related pain, such as facet joint syndrome or nerve root pain.

Before every injection treatment we carry out a thorough specialist examination to determine the most suitable therapy for you. Please contact us, and we will help you ease your pain and regain freedom of movement.
